Two men have been locked up for a string of terrifying knife-point robberies in Edgware. Abdulahi Sharif Mohamed, 20, from Riverdene, Edgware, was handed three years and four months in prison at Harrow Crown Court on Thursday, 23 August.

Mohamed pleaded guilty on 16 July to robbing three men. Alongside him, a 17-year-old male from Wembley, also admitting three offences, received an 18-month Youth Referral Order, a six-month tagged curfew, and a 12-month ban from entering Barnet.

Victims left traumatised after brutal attacks

PC Sam Kirk from Barnet Borough revealed the pair left victims “traumatised by the level of violence” and threatened them with knives. The robbers targeted lone men, snatching phones and cash which they blew on clothes and fast food.

Mohamed was linked to attacks on 8, 17, and 20 May. One victim was threatened at knife-point, while another suffered hospital-treatment-worthy injuries after being beaten.
