A12 southbound is closed following Serious Collision
The A12 southbound is closed between Junction 20B and Junction 19. This is due to a serious collision. The Emergency Services are working at the scene and the road is expected to remain closed well into the night. Diversion route have been put in place by the Highways Agency : Southbound, exit the A12 at J20B Hatfield Peverel (North) and follow the B1137 through Hatfield Peverel and Boreham to rejoin the A12 southbound at J19 Boreham. Road users may wish to consider alternative routes and should allow extra time for their journeys.
