Murder on the train man enters not guilty plea

Darren Pencille today pleaded NOT GUILTY via video link from Belmarsh prison where he is on remand, into the Old Bailey London. The case has been transferred from Guildford Crown court and the trial is scheduled to start on June 24th 2019. Provisionally it is expected to take two weeks. The charge of possession of an offensive weapon relates to the knife Pencille had on the train, and not one on him when he was arrested in the dawn raid at Mitchell’s home in Willbury Rd, Farnham last month. Physically in the dock was Chelsey Mitchell from Farnham who has been on conditional bail. She also pleaded not guilty to the charge of assisting an offender. Mitchell transported Pencille from near to where he got off the train after the murder and back to her home in Farnham. The charge states she bought clippers and razors to facilitate him changing his appearance. She is also accused of searching to find out about CCTV in the area relating to the murder.
