Pensioner dies in Fatal Whitstable collision

Dashcam footage is being sought following a fatal road traffic collision in Whitstable. Police were called to the A2990, Old Thanet Way at 7.31pm on Friday, 1 March 2019, following a report of a collision involving a white Ford Kuga and a black Suzuki motorcycle. The Suzuki was being ridden towards Whitstable from the direction of Herne Bay when is reported the rider came off the bike. The motorcyclist, a man in his 70s, was then in collision with the Ford Kuga. The motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene. Dashcam footage sought Officers from the Serious Collision Investigation Unit are keen to hear from any motorists travelling in the area that may have dashcam footage taken shortly before the incident.
