Emergency services rushed to a crash near Brading this morning after a car flipped on its roof. The overturned vehicle was found between Brading and Beaper Shute, blocking the road and causing delays for motorists.

Officers from Hampshire Constabulary, Island fire crews, and paramedics swarmed the scene. Two fire engines from Ryde attended the incident outside Brading Cricket Ground, where a white Renault hatchback lay upside down.
Driver Escapes Unharmed
Initially feared trapped, the driver managed to extract themselves from the wreckage safely. Firefighters are still working on scene safety as traffic queues build up in the area.
