Young Man Fatally Shot in Lambeth – Police Hunt for Witnesses
Detectives are urgently seeking information after a man was gunned down in Lambeth on Wednesday afternoon. Emergency services were alerted at 4.11pm to reports of a critically injured man in Friar Mews, West Norwood.
Despite swift paramedic and police response, the 25-year-old victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
Victim Identified as Ramane Richard Wiggan
While formal ID is pending, officers believe the deceased is Ramane Richard Wiggan, with his family now informed. A post-mortem revealed the cause of death as a gunshot wound.
The Homicide and Major Crime Command has taken charge of the investigation and launched a thorough inquiry.
Two Teenagers Arrested, Bail Granted
Police have arrested two 17-year-olds on suspicion of murder. Both suspects have been bailed until late April while enquiries continue.
Detectives are reviewing CCTV footage and conducting forensic tests to piece together what happened.
