Police charge Harry Joyce over Southampton pub murder
A man has been charged with murder after the death of Perry Cardy (52). Perry was assaulted at The Bittern pub in Southampton, at around 9.50pm on Friday (19 April) and he died on Sunday (21 April). Harry Joyce, 27, of no fixed address has been charged with murder. He is due to appear at Southampton Magistrates Court tomorrow (Tuesday 23 April). A 39-year-old man from Southampton, who was arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to murder has been released from custody but remains under investigation.
