Man Charged with Murder After Southampton Pub Death
A man has been charged with murder following the death of 52-year-old Perry Cardy. Perry was attacked at The Bittern pub in Southampton around 9.50pm on Friday, 19 April. He tragically died two days later on Sunday, 21 April.
Suspect to Appear in Court
Harry Joyce, 27, with no fixed address, is facing murder charges. He is set to appear at Southampton Magistrates Court tomorrow, Tuesday 23 April.
Investigation Continues
A 39-year-old Southampton man, initially arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to murder, has been released but remains under investigation.
Police urge anyone with information to contact them on 101 quoting Operation Bonham.
