Tragic Enfield Crash Claims 89-Year-Old Man

Police are hunting witnesses after a fatal road accident in Enfield yesterday afternoon. The incident happened at 3.17pm on Wednesday, 24 April, on Drapers Road.

Car Collides with Elderly Pedestrian

An 89-year-old man was struck by a car. Despite desperate attempts by paramedics, he sadly died at the scene.

His family have been informed. The car driver stayed at the scene and has not been arrested.

Serious Collision Unit Launches Probe

Officers from the Serious Collision Investigation Unit, based in Chadwell Heath, are leading the inquiry. They urge anyone who saw the crash or has dashcam footage to come forward.
