15-Year-Old Charged with Murder in West Kensington Stabbing

Teen Held Over Fatal Attack

A 15-year-old boy has been charged with the murder of 17-year-old Ayub Hassan in West Kensington. The stabbing took place on 7 March in Lanfrey Place, W14. The teenager will appear at Westminster Magistrates’ Court this morning (Saturday, 9 March).

Victim Identified

Police have formally identified the victim as Ayub Hassan from Shepherds Bush. While awaiting a post-mortem scheduled for Sunday, 10 March, Hassan’s next of kin have been informed.

Other Suspects Released

Three other males were arrested during the investigation. A 17-year-old has been granted bail until mid-April while inquiries continue. An 18-year-old and a 15-year-old have been released with no further action.
