M27 Motorway Closed Following Collision

M27 motorway closed following collision

The M27 is currently closed within Junction 4 (M3) with delays of at least 10 minutes on approach. This closure is due to a road traffic collision. Highways England has resources deployed working hard to restore normal conditions as soon as possible. For traffic approaching the closure locally, you are advised to expect disruption with extra journey time and may potentially have to re-route your journey. If travelling towards this area from much farther afield, you may wish to consider an alternative route, allow extra travel time and follow guidance from our on-road variable message signs and media. Diverted traffic is to join the M3 northbound and exit the M3 at J13. After exiting at J13 turn right onto Leigh Road passing above the M3. Turn right again and re-join the M3 southbound. Continue on the M3 southbound and merge with the M27 westbound to continue your journey.
