Body Found in Wallasey Park Sparks Murder Mystery

Detectives are hunting to ID a man whose body was found at Wallasey’s Central Park lake early Monday morning.

Man Discovered Dead Near Lake

At around 6.30am, police were called to the scene on Liscard Road after the grim discovery. The man was pronounced dead at the spot. His death is currently unexplained, with a post-mortem planned to reveal more.

Police Release Description of Unidentified Man

The victim is described as a white male, aged 45-50, bald, about 5ft 8in tall. He was dressed in a red, white and blue hoodie, black jeans with a brown belt, and black boots. A pair of glasses was also found nearby.

Appeal for Information

Detective Inspector Paul Parry said: “Extensive enquiries are underway to identify this man. I would ask anyone with information to come forward — whether you recognise him or have concerns about a missing loved one.”
