CCTV released after series of Burglaries in Oxfordshire and Berkshire

Police have released CCTV images of two men who may have vital information in connection with a series of burglaries in Oxfordshire and Berkshire. Between 9am and 5.30pm on Friday 7 June, properties on Knights Way, Emmer Green; Lydsee Gate, Wantage and Hurst Rise Road, Botley were broken into and a quantity of jewellery and cash was stolen. Between 3.30pm and 4.30pm on Saturday 8 June a property on the High Street, Chinnor was broken into and jewellery was stolen. Between 2.45pm and 3.15pm on Monday 10 June, offenders forced their way into a property in Radley Road. They gained entry by smashing the glass of a side door and a large quantity of cash was stolen. At around 12.45pm on Wednesday 12 June, three men were disturbed whilst in the garden of a property in Chazey Road, Caversham Heights. Investigating officer Detective Sergeant Francesca Jarvis based at Abingdon police station said: “We believe the offenders are targeting properties to steal jewellery and cash and that they may be using a black Audi A3 to travel to different locations. “I am appealing for anyone who may have been in the areas at the time of these incidents and may have information, or who recognise the vehicle described to contact Thames Valley Police on 101 quoting reference 43190174793 or make a report online.
