Tragic Early Morning Crash Claims Life on Ripple Road

Police rushed to Ripple Road junction with the A13 in Barking at 3.22am on Monday, 1 July after reports of a serious collision. Emergency teams found a car smashed into street furniture at the scene.

Driver Dies, Two Others Hospitalised

The driver, a man believed to be 25, was pronounced dead at the scene. A woman and another man from the same vehicle were taken to hospital with injuries described as non-life-threatening. Police are continuing enquiries to notify the next of kin.

Road Closures and Ongoing Investigation

Road closures remain in place at the crash site as officers from the Met’s Serious Collision Investigation Unit probe the cause. No arrests have been made.
