Detectives investigating a fatal road traffic collision in Dagenham are appealing for witnesses and dash-cam footage

Police were called at 3.22am on Monday, 1 July to reports of a collision at Ripple Road junction with the A13, Barking. Emergency services attended and found a car in collision with street furniture. The driver of the vehicle, a man believed to be aged 25, was pronounced dead at the scene. Enquiries are ongoing to inform next of kin. Road closures remain in place at this time. No arrests. Enquiries are going. A woman and another man from the vehicle were taken to hospital. Their injuries were not life-threatening.
