Three Convicted Over Brazen Lambeth Robbery
Three crooks have been caught and convicted over a daring robbery at Lambeth commercial premises last August.
Guilty Verdicts at Inner London Crown Court
On Friday, 19 July, Harrpreet Kaur, 28, from Broad Walk, Hounslow, was found guilty of false imprisonment and possession of articles to commit fraud. Monica Pashias, 42, of Tamworth Street, SW6, and Tyrone Waugh, 40, from Ravenscroft House, Chiswick, had already pleaded guilty to robbery.
All three face sentencing on Thursday, 19 September.
Robbery Details: Locked Up and Looted
Police were called just before midday on 2 August 2018 after a break-in at a commercial site at St George’s Wharf, SW8. Thieves snatched a laser hair removal machine and accessories, and locked a staff member inside the store during the robbery.
Arrests and Charges
- Kaur and Pashias were arrested on 14 August 2018.
- Waugh was caught later on 31 August 2018.
- All were charged with multiple offences on 20 November 2018.
