Two More Arrests in South Hampstead Murder Probe

Detectives investigating the stabbing death of a man in south Hampstead have arrested two more suspects. Aged 20 and 23, the men were stopped in an armed raid early on Friday, 26 July, when police pulled over a blue Audi A3 on Shirland Road, W9. Both are now in custody at a south London police station.

Later the same day, two more men, both 23, were arrested after a vehicle stop in Kilburn Road, W10. They are being held at a separate police station in north London.

Victims Found with Stab Wounds in NW8

Police were called around 11.45pm on Thursday, 25 July, to Ainsworth House on Boundary Road, NW8, following reports of violence. Two men, aged 20 and 22, were found suffering stab injuries. The 20-year-old sadly died at hospital just after midnight. His family have been informed and are receiving specialist support.

The 22-year-old victim remains in serious but stable condition.

Related Attack in W10 Linked to Murder Inquiry

Officers confirm a stabbing in nearby Lancefield Street, W10, is tied to the murder investigation. Just after midnight on Friday, a 20-year-old man was found with a stab wound to the leg. He was taken to hospital where his injuries are not life-threatening.

Detectives continue to probe how these incidents connect and urge anyone with information to come forward.

“My team is working hard to establish the circumstances of this violent incident, and our thoughts and condolences are with the family of the man who died last night,” said Detective Chief Inspector Simon Stancombe.

“This has already been a fast paced investigation and these efforts will continue throughout the coming hours and days. We are keeping an open mind about motive and appeal for information from anyone we have not yet spoken to, whether that is direct into my team or anonymously via Crimestoppers.”
