A3 Shut Near Guildford After Multi-Car Smash
The A3 in Surrey is shut near Guildford between the A31 and B3000 following a multi-vehicle crash. Surrey Police are on scene, controlling traffic and organising vehicle recovery.
Traffic Chaos: Major Diversions in Place
Drivers stuck on the southbound A3 are urged to follow these diversion instructions:
- Exit at Stag Hill interchange (Hogs Back) onto the A31 towards Farnham.
- Stay on the A31 for around 2 miles, then leave at the B3000 interchange.
- At the T junction, turn left onto the B3000, passing through Puttenham.
- Continue for about 1 mile to the A3 Compton interchange roundabout.
- Take the 3rd exit to cross the A3, then at the next roundabout take the 3rd exit to rejoin the A3 southbound.
