Sex attack probe launched in Snodland

Witnesses to a reported sexual assault in Snodland are being urged to come forward. The incident happened on Holborough Road at around 10.30pm on Thursday 14 November 2019. The victim, a woman in her 40s, was walking between the clock tower and the BP petrol garage when she felt someone grab her and pull her towards them. She was then sexually assaulted before managing to run away in the direction of the petrol garage. Police were called and officers attended and carried out a thorough search of the local area but were unable to trace the man responsible. Detectives from the West Kent Vulnerable Investigation Team are continuing to carry out enquiries into the incident and would like to hear from anyone with information. They are also urging any motorists who may been in the area to check dash cams which may have important footage. The suspect is described as being tall, with a dark skinned appearance.
