Murder investigation launched in Dagenham
A man has been arrested on suspicion of murder in Dagenham. The 37-year-old man was arrested in the early hours on Friday, 22 November and is currently in police custody. Police attended a residential address in Durham Road, Dagenham at around 1.51pm on Thursday, 21 November following concerns for the welfare of an occupant. Officers attended with London Ambulance Service and a woman, believed to be in her 60s, was pronounced dead at the scene. Her next of kin have been informed and formal identification will take place in due course. The death is being treated as suspicious. Enquiries continue.
