Detectives seek witnesses of street robbery in Dartford

Kent Police is appealing for information after two teenage boys were robbed in Dartford. On Friday 22 November 2019 at around 6pm the victims were in Hythe Street at the junction with Suffolk Road when they reported being robbed by a group of men in their late teens. It is understood the boys were threatened with a weapon before a mobile phone and cash was stolen. Police attended at the time of the incident and the area was searched however the suspects were not located. Officers have carried out a number of enquiries since and believe there were witnesses in the area at the time who could have seen the robbery take place. The five suspects were described by the victims as being black and between 5ft, 10ins and 6ft tall. They were seen wearing dark clothing – a mixture of jumpers and tracksuit bottoms. Two of them were wearing hats and one had a coat with a fur hood, smart grey trousers with thin stripes and tanned-coloured shoes.
