Oliver Mountford, once reported missing, is now the prime suspect behind a reckless hit-and-run in Bishopstoke, Eastleigh. After a huge overnight hunt involving Police and NPAS (National Police Air Support), the daring driver was finally arrested. Dangerous Driving Spree Shocks Locals

Mountford was seen tearing through the streets in his grey BMW 1 Series coupe. Witnesses describe him speeding wildly, honking aggressively, and abusing other drivers. He even mounted the pavement on Alan Drayton Way, driving on the wrong side of the road before ditching his wrecked car in an alley off 1 Road, Bishopstoke.

  • “The driving was crazy! He nearly hit two other cars and zoomed past the school on the wrong side,” said one terrified witness.
  • Another recalled, “At around 8:30am, I saw him speeding down Burnett’s Lane near the Meadowsweet exit, blaring his horn.”

Shockingly, Mountford’s high-speed rampage unfolded near Stoke Park Infant and Junior School while parents and children were still arriving. He later crashed by the New Clock Inn in Fair Oak but didn’t stop. The damaged BMW was found dumped behind the side fence of Stoke Park Junior School around midday.

Police Appeal Removed After Arrest
