Man Busted for Dangerous Driving and Drug Charges in Haringey

A 21-year-old man from Wood Green has been hit with a list of serious charges after a police chase in Haringey.

Konna Ward Faces Multiple Offences

Konna Ward, of Farrant Avenue, Wood Green, was charged on Wednesday, 5 February with:

  • Possession with intent to supply Class B drugs
  • Racially aggravated public order offence
  • Dangerous driving
  • Aggravated taking and driving away a motor vehicle
  • Failing to stop for police
  • No insurance

He has been remanded in custody and is due to appear at Highbury Corner Magistrates’ Court on Thursday, 6 February.

On Tuesday, 4 February, officers used tactical contact to bring a suspected motorcycle to a halt in Wood Green, N22. This stop led to the series of charges against Ward.
