Man Charged Over Croydon Town Centre Stabbing
Aaron Kane Johnson has appeared in court following a brutal stabbing in Croydon town centre.
Stabbing Outside Popular Bars
The 22-year-old is accused of knifing an 18-year-old near the Soulful Cellar bar, under the Croydon flyover, in the early hours of Sunday, February 9. The victim was attacked close to a clutch of busy bars and clubs before being helped by bouncers at the nearby Story nightclub.
Victim Taken to Hospital, Condition Stable
The victim was rushed to hospital with stab wounds. Thankfully, his injuries are not life-threatening. Johnson, who has no fixed address, was charged on Monday, February 10, with grievous bodily harm with intent and possession of an offensive weapon in a public place.
