Shock Stabbing on Isle of Dogs – Police Hunt Two Men
Detectives have released CCTV footage of two men wanted in connection with a brutal stabbing on the Isle of Dogs.
The attack happened just after 10.30pm on Friday, 27 December 2019, on Millharbour, Tower Hamlets. A 17-year-old boy was chased from South Quay DLR station and stabbed five times.
Teen Left Bloodied but Lucky to Survive
Officers found the teenager with multiple stab wounds. He was rushed to hospital, where he stayed for days. Thankfully, his injuries were not life-threatening or permanent.
Before the emergency services arrived, members of the public bravely administered first aid.
Police Appeal for Witnesses to ID Attackers
The suspects fled on foot, and a police search failed to track them down. Detectives describe both men as around 20 years old and of Asian appearance.
Detective Constable Dave Barrett from Central East CID said:
“The victim in this case was stabbed multiple times and he is extremely lucky to have come away without any long lasting injuries. We are appealing for anyone who recognises the two males in this CCTV to come forward to police or alternatively to contact Crimestoppers – this is completely independent and all calls are anonymous.
“This type of dangerous behaviour is not acceptable on our streets and we are determined to find those who are known to carry weapons.”
