Three Held Over Ramsgate Assault and Bike Theft

Three suspects were arrested after a man was attacked in Ramsgate yesterday evening.

Assault Sparks Police Action

Kent Police rushed to Princess Margaret Avenue at around 9pm on Tuesday, 25 February, following reports a man in his 40s was assaulted after talking to a group. The victim suffered a hand injury and was taken to a local hospital for treatment.

Car Damage and Stolen Bike Links

The incident also involved damage to a car. Officers later connected the suspects to a motorcycle theft at Westwood Cross at about 2.45pm the same day.

Three Arrested, In Custody

  • A 19-year-old man with no fixed address
  • A 15-year-old boy from south-east London
  • An 18-year-old man from Canterbury

All three were arrested on suspicion of assault and vehicle theft on Wednesday, 26 February, and remain in custody as police continue their enquiries.

Witnesses Urged to Come Forward

Kent Police are appealing to anyone who saw the bike theft around 2.45pm or the assault between 8.30pm and 9pm on 25 February to get in touch. Call 01843 222289 and quote crime reference 46/36033/20.
