Double Murder Shocks Birmingham Street

West Midlands police have launched a double murder probe after two women were stabbed to death in Birmingham this morning.

Officers were called to a house on Belle Walk, Moseley, at around 11am on Monday 16 March.

Two Women Found Fatally Stabbed

A 43-year-old woman was discovered with fatal stab wounds and died at the scene. A second woman, 52, was found seriously injured next door.

Despite quick medical intervention, she tragically died shortly after arriving at hospital.

Man Arrested on Murder Suspicion

A 40-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of murder. West Midlands Ambulance Service confirmed police called them at 11.05am following reports of a stabbing/" title="Stabbing" data-wpil-keyword-link="linked">stabbing.

Two ambulances, a paramedic officer, a critical care car with advanced paramedic, and the WM CARE Team rushed to the scene.

“On arrival, crews found one woman confirmed dead at the scene,” a spokesperson said. “The second woman was critically injured and received advanced life support before being rushed to hospital. Sadly, she died despite all efforts.”

Police continue their investigation as the city reels from this brutal double tragedy.
