Tragic End to Poole Water Search as Missing Man Found
Dorset Police launched a tense search after 18-year-old Callum Baker-Osborne went missing in the waters off Rockley Park, Poole. The alert came at 3.52pm on Monday 26 July 2021 when concerns were raised for several people in trouble in the water.
Search Efforts Intensify but Tragedy Strikes
Emergency crews helped 10 people to safety that day. However, Callum was still unaccounted for. Multi-agency teams combed the water and shoreline throughout the week, desperately trying to find him.
Then, at 5.51am on Friday 30 July, a body was discovered at Hamworthy pier. While formal ID is pending, authorities believe it to be Callum.
