Teen Bros Busted with Loaded Gun and Drugs in Ilford

Two teenage brothers have landed themselves in hot water after cops found a loaded firearm at their Ilford home. The 17-year-old and 16-year-old appeared in custody at Barkingside Youth Court on Tuesday, facing serious charges.

Loaded Revolver, Drugs, and Cash Seized

Officers from the Met’s Viper team – the force’s specialist unit tackling gun crime – swooped on the brothers’ address on 16 March as part of an ongoing investigation. Inside, they seized a loaded revolver pistol, a ball bearing gun, ammunition, crack cocaine, and a hefty £4,500 in cash.

Serious Charges and Remand

  • Possession of a firearm with intent to endanger life
  • Possession of prohibited ammunition
  • Possession with intent to supply Class A drugs
  • Possession of criminal property
  • Possession of cannabis

The teens were arrested, taken in for questioning, and charged. They were remanded in custody and will reappear in court on 1 and 18 March.
