Man Charged with Murder in Thornton Heath Stabbing
Detectives have charged a man in connection with the fatal stabbing of John Kennett on Woodcroft Road, Thornton Heath, back in December 2019.
Kenny Pitcher Charged with Murder
Kenny Pitcher, 51, from Woodcroft Road, was arrested at the scene on 23 December 2019. Initially released on bail as enquiries continued, Pitcher was formally charged with John Kennett’s murder on Wednesday, 8 April.
Court Appearance and Other Suspects
Pitcher appeared in custody at Westminster Magistrates’ Court on Thursday, 9 April.
A 33-year-old man arrested on 16 January remains released under investigation. Meanwhile, a 41-year-old man caught up in the probe has been released with no further action.
