A cyclist tragically died after suffering a suspected heart attack during a collision near Folkestone on Friday morning. Emergency crews rushed to Sandgate Hill just before 9am.

Kent Police, paramedics, and the Kent air ambulance scrambled to the scene. A local witness said the man was cycling normally before suddenly clutching his chest and collapsing.

“I watched the paramedics carry out CPR and use a defibrillator. It was heartbreaking,” said the eyewitness.
