Body Found at Fair Oak New Build: Tributes Pour In for Brooke Cleland
Tributes are flooding in after a woman’s body was discovered at her home in Edward Drive, Fair Oak, just off Mortimer’s Lane. The grim find was made shortly after 6am yesterday at the new build site at the end of Goaters Way.
Brooke Cleland: Beloved, Bubbly, and Ambitious
Brooke Cleland, 32, lived at the property with her partner. Friends have expressed heartbreak over the tragic news, describing Brooke as a “bubbly, lovely, and smiling woman” who loved the outdoors and her pets. “She will be missed by all,” said a close friend.
“Tenacious, bubbly and caring individual with a great work ethic and personal drive,” Brooke once wrote of herself. “Strong leadership qualities with a keen interest in mentoring others.”
Brooke had a background in healthcare, including work with the NHS and as a support worker. Known for her intelligence and dedication, she was well respected in her field.
Police Investigation Underway After Early Morning Discovery
Police launched an investigation after being called to the Fair Oak property. Three forensic vans and several police cars were seen at the scene from early yesterday morning and remained into the evening.
A neighbour told us: “It’s a quiet street, so this is naturally worrying. I saw the man just after 6am, right before the ambulance arrived. There was shouting last night, seemed like a domestic argument.”
The new build road remains unfinished, and police have parked vehicles on nearby driveways as they carry out their inquiries. The investigation is ongoing.
