Met Police Strike Big Blow Against Camden Drug Gang
In a major early morning raid, Met police arrested 14 men linked to a notorious Camden gang dealing class A drugs. The swoop smashed a seven-month investigation into the drug supply racket in Queens Crescent.
14 Arrested, Drugs and Cash Seized
At 4am on Wednesday 26 August, officers executed 19 search warrants across Camden, targeting a gang tied to serious violence and drug supply.
- 14 men aged 18 to 57 detained
- Class A drugs – heroin and crack cocaine – seized
- At least £4,000 in cash recovered
- Shotgun shells, 9mm ammo, a zombie knife, and an axe found
The arrests include multiple suspects from Camden and nearby areas. Charges range from conspiracy to supply class A drugs to possession with intent and illegal possession of firearms and ammunition.
Police Praise Community Intel for Success
“This morning’s warrants were the culmination of months of hard work,” said Detective Chief Inspector Jodie Tuff. “We have listened to the concerns of residents and will not tolerate drug dealing or the violence it causes.”
DCI Tuff stressed the vital role of local communities in the crackdown. “Information from the public was key to this operation. Londoners play an active part in keeping their areas safe.”
