Serious Crash in Stoke Poges Leaves Toddler Hurt

Thames Valley Police are hunting witnesses after a nasty crash in Stoke Poges last night.

Collision on Gerrards Cross Road

At around 9.55pm on August 31st, a blue Volkswagen Golf and a grey BMW smashed into each other at the junction of Gerrards Cross Road and Stoke Common Road.

A three-year-old girl, riding in the Golf, suffered serious injuries and is now in specialist care at Oxford’s John Radcliffe Hospital.

Both drivers escaped with minor injuries and have been discharged from hospital.

Police Urge Witnesses to Step Forward

“We’ve spoken to the drivers and those who stopped to help,” said PC Phil Duthie from the Roads Policing Unit. “No arrests have been made. We need anyone who saw the collision or has dash-cam footage to get in touch. This could be vital to our investigation.”
