The alarm was raised at 1.12pm, prompting the Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance and the National Police Air Support (NPAS) to swoop in. Firefighters, paramedics, and police also arrived to deal with the tragic incident.
Tragic Crash Involving Lorry and Hay Bales
A witness revealed, “The Air Ambulance landed close to my home, and the police helicopter was circling about 40 minutes later. I’ve been told a lorry driver died in an accident on the property. There was a lorry loaded with hay bales at the site.”

“We received a report of an industrial incident at an address on Winchester Road, Shedfield, at 1.12pm on Sunday, September 13. Officers remain at the scene conducting enquiries.”
