Huge Zombie Knife and Class A Drugs Seized in Lowbourne Traffic Stop
Just before 3pm on Thursday (15/10), police pulled over a Ford Fiesta in Lowbourne, sparking a major drug and weapons bust.
Zombie Knife and Drugs Found in Car Search
During a Misuse of Drugs Act search, officers uncovered a massive zombie knife, a stash of suspected Class A drugs, cash, and various drug paraphernalia inside the vehicle.
Two Men Arrested – One Back Behind Bars
- A 29-year-old Melksham man was arrested on suspicion of drug driving, carrying a knife in public, and possession with intent to supply Class A drugs. He was taken to Melksham custody and later released under investigation as inquiries continue.
- A 22-year-old man from Broughton Gifford was arrested for possession of a knife in public and intent to supply Class A drugs. He has since been recalled to prison.
Police Sound Warning Over Drugs and Knives
PC Thomas Richardson said: “These are serious offences and this was a positive proactive stop. We are pleased that a large knife has been removed from the community, together with a significant amount of suspected class A drugs.
“These drugs destroy lives and blight entire communities through increased crime and anti-social behaviour. We will simply not tolerate this and will continue to make every effort to bring those involved to justice.”
