Officers from the Serious Collision Investigation Unit are appealing for witnesses following a fatal collision on the London-bound carriageway of the M20 on Saturday 31 October 2020.
At about 2.20pm, between junctions six and five, a white Mercedes-Benz E220 collided with the rear of a blue Mitsubishi L200 which was parked on the hard shoulder. This had been involved in an earlier collision with a white Ford Kuga that had collided with a crash barrier.
A 22-year-old woman in the Mercedes-Benz was declared deceased at the scene. Her next of kin have been informed.
A 50-year-old woman received serious injuries and was taken to a local hospital for treatment.
