Teen Girls Stabbed On Croydon School Routes in Chilling Attacks
South London detectives are hunting a knifeman after two teenage girls were stabbed while walking to school in Croydon. The brutal attacks happened just days apart and police believe they are linked.
First Attack: Girl Stabbed in Leg
On Wednesday, 4 November at 8:50am, officers rushed to Moffat Road following reports of a stabbing. A 15-year-old girl was approached by a stranger and stabbed in the leg. She was taken to hospital but her injuries were not life-threatening.
Second Attack: Girl Stabbed in Arm
Just two days later on Friday, 6 November at 8:23am, another 15-year-old girl was stabbed—this time in the arm—on St Paul’s Road. She was treated at the scene and hospitalised, where her condition was also described as non-life-threatening.
Police Appeal and Safety Measures
The two victims attend different schools and don’t appear to know each other. Detective Inspector David Adams said:
“These attacks are almost identical in nature and I am confident that they are linked. We have released CCTV footage from the second incident and urge the community to help us identify this suspect.”
