Man Found Dead in Reading as Three Men Arrested for Murder
Early this morning at around 4.55am, South Central Ambulance Service alerted police to a house on Oxford Road, Reading. On arrival, officers discovered a man in his fifties had tragically died.
Three Men Held Over Tragic Death
Police swiftly arrested three men from Reading — aged 44, 38, and 43 — on suspicion of murder. All three remain in custody as investigations continue. The cause of death has not yet been revealed.
Police Appeal for Witnesses
“Sadly the body of a man has been found this morning,” said Detective Chief Inspector Dave Turton, Reading’s Crime Manager.
“We have launched an investigation to understand the circumstances surrounding the death, which is currently unexplained. Three people are in custody. We urge anyone with information about this incident on Oxford Road to come forward.”
“If you saw or heard anything, please call 101 quoting reference 202 of 12/11/2020. Expect an increased police presence in the area while we continue our inquiries.”
Officers are also working to identify and inform the man’s next of kin. Uniformed officers are available for anyone wishing to share information or express concerns.
