Man Charged After Deadly East London Shootings
Detectives have charged a man following two shocking shootings in east London.
Mushin Mohamed Faces Murder and Attempted Murder Charges
Mushin Mohamed, 24, from Leytonstone Road, E15, was charged on Thursday, 19 November, with murder and attempted murder. He is set to appear in custody at Barkingside Magistrates’ Court the same day.
Fatal Shooting on Balfour Road
Police were called at 11.14pm on Sunday, 1 November, after reports of a gunshot on Balfour Road, IG1. Tragically, 30-year-old Jason Diallo from Ilford was found dead at the scene with a fatal head wound.
Second Shooting Leaves Victim Seriously Injured
Less than an hour earlier, at 10.33pm, officers responded to a shooting on Garvary Road, E16. A man was rushed to hospital with injuries that were later confirmed as not life-threatening.
