Knife and Axe Gang Terrorise Windsor Riverside
Chaos erupted near Windsor Town Bridge late Saturday night as two masked men armed with a knife and an axe robbed a trio by the riverside.
Terrifying Standoff at Eton Bridge
At around 10:25pm on 28 November, two men and a woman were relaxing by the river on the Windsor side when two suspicious men strolled past and climbed the bridge stairs.
After 10-15 minutes, the pair returned—one brandishing a knife, the other wielding an axe. They violently banged their weapons against the wall before demanding the group hand over their belongings.
The victims complied, tossing phones and a wallet to the attackers who swiftly fled up the stairs and vanished into the night. Miraculously, nobody was hurt.

Police Plea for Witnesses
“I am appealing to anyone who was near Eton Bridge on Saturday night or recognises these descriptions to come forward,” said Case Investigator Harriet Driver from Maidenhead police station. “This was a terrifying ordeal for the victims. Thankfully, nobody was injured. I believe others were around at the time and urge them to help us with information.” “I am especially keen to speak to a man with brown hair and glasses who may have seen the suspects’ getaway.”
