County Lines Kingpin Jailed for Over Five Years
Kye Hardy-King, 28, from Hounslow, has been locked up for five years and six months after masterminding a major county lines drug operation. The notorious “Tommy” line pushed crack cocaine and heroin to vulnerable users across North Surrey.
Arrested After Covert Police Sting
Hardy-King was busted on 16 June in Hounslow following undercover investigations by Surrey Police and the Metropolitan Police Service. Officers seized two mobile phones from him, uncovering clear evidence of months of drug dealing.
The court heard Hardy-King ordered “runners” to deliver drugs on his behalf. He admitted charges relating to the supply of both crack cocaine and heroin.
Additional Charges Over Prison Drug Smuggling by Drone
At Kingston Crown Court on 27 December, Hardy-King pled guilty to all counts, including a separate Met Police probe that charged him with smuggling drugs into prison using a drone.
The combined sentences total five years and six months behind bars.

“This conviction is a win in our fight against county lines,” said PC Katherine Stevens. “Hardy-King thought he was untouchable, but our team’s relentless covert work has paid off.”
Stevens urged the public to keep reporting suspicious activity. “Even small tips like late-night visitors or the smell of weed help us build the bigger picture. These reports are vital and taken seriously — they lead to big busts like this one.”
She added: “County lines drug networks wreck communities through violence, burglaries, and antisocial behaviour. It’s everyone’s responsibility to help stamp them out.”
