Thieves Smash Shop Front in Midnight Robbery
Just before 1am this morning (07/12), burglars forced their way through the front doors of a shop on Calne Road. They made off with two cash drawers from the tills, vanishing before police could catch them.
Quick Police Response, But Culprits Escape
Officers arrived within ten minutes of the call and scoured the area, but the suspects were gone. Witnesses spotted two men sprinting towards Preston Lane shortly after the break-in.
