Woman Found Dead at Dorset Travelodge
Dorset Police were called at 8.01am on Wednesday, 9 December 2020, after a woman in her 20s was tragically found dead at the Travelodge hotel on Christchurch Road.
Man Arrested on Suspicion of Murder
A 32-year-old Bournemouth man has been arrested on suspicion of murder. He is currently helping detectives with their inquiries as the Major Crime Investigation Team (MCIT) leads the probe, treating the death as suspicious.
Police Appeal for Witnesses
Detective Chief Inspector Jez Noyce said: “Our thoughts are with the family at this extremely difficult time. We are conducting a full investigation and have been speaking with hotel guests.”
He urged anyone who saw or heard anything unusual near the Travelodge on the morning of 9 December to come forward immediately.
