Tragedy in Newham: Teen Kayjon Lubin Murdered in Stabbing
A 15-year-old boy was found with fatal injuries in Newham and died at the scene despite emergency efforts.
Police have identified the victim as Kayjon Lubin. A post-mortem confirmed he died from a single stab wound to the chest.
Police Hunt Killer After Deadly Attack Near Nisa Store
The Met’s Specialist Crime Command is working fast to catch Kayjon’s killer.
“We’re supporting Kayjon’s family through this unimaginable time,” said Detective Chief Inspector Mark Wrigley. “We’re doing everything possible to find who’s responsible for his murder.”
“Many people were nearby when Kayjon was attacked. If you saw anything around 6:30pm near the Nisa store on Pier Parade, please come forward immediately. No detail is too small.”
Two Men Held as Police Probe Fatal Stabbing
- A 17-year-old male is in custody on suspicion of murder.
- A 28-year-old man is held on suspicion of attempted murder.
- A previously arrested 25-year-old man has been released with no further action.
