Petrol Tanker Crashes Into Broken-Down Car on M25 Roundabout
A terrifying collision rocked Junction 14 of the M25 on Saturday, 27 February, just after 3.30pm. A petrol tanker smashed into a white Mitsubishi Lancer that had broken down and was being pushed along lane one by two occupants.
Chaos on the Roundabout
The Mitsubishi reportedly stalled on the roundabout before the crash. Witnesses say a dark panel van was stopped ahead of the car, possibly helping the stranded drivers. Meanwhile, a tipper lorry sped past moments before the smash.
Serious Injuries and Ongoing Probe
- The tanker driver stayed at the scene to cooperate with police.
- A 44-year-old man remains in a life-threatening condition.
- A 20-year-old woman has been stabilised after the crash.
- No arrests have been made so far.
