Six Arrested in Major Modern Slavery Sting Across Harrow

Big Bust Targets Human Trafficking Ring

Four men and two women were snapped up in a high-stakes raid targeting modern slavery in Harrow. The Met’s Specialist Crime Command teamed up with Romanian authorities for this carefully planned crackdown.

On Tuesday 30 March, police executed five warrants in Station Road, Hindes Road, and Stirling Road, with muscle from the Territorial Support Group (TSG).

Brothel and More: 14 Women Rescued

Those arrested, aged 22 to 37, face serious charges including slavery, human trafficking, controlling prostitution, and money laundering.

One searched address was identified as a brothel. Fourteen women found at the raided locations are now under specialist care and protection.

The Met are still combing through the scenes as inquiries continue.

Police Urge Public to Spot and Report Slavery

“This exploitation sadly still goes on across London and the UK,” said Acting Detective Inspector Nick Bland. “Our modern slavery team works round the clock to identify and protect victims of sexual exploitation.”

“We need the public’s eyes and ears. If you think someone is trapped in slavery, report it. You will be taken seriously and support is available.”

“Many victims don’t see themselves as such—they’re coerced, often with limited English, and told not to trust authorities. Slavery isn’t just in brothels; victims have been forced to work in construction, agriculture, cannabis farms, barbers, nail bars, and car washes.”
