Man Indecently Approaches Teen Girl in Alleyway
A man reportedly indecently approached a teenage girl walking through an alley connecting Minster Road and Blatcher Close at around 3.45pm on Monday, 29 March 2021.
Suspect Description and Escape
The suspect is described as a white male in his 40s. At the time, he wore a black hooded jumper, a black face mask, and grey jogging bottoms. He fled towards Minster Road when a second person appeared in the alley. This second individual’s gender is unknown but was seen wearing a grey hooded jacket.
Police Appeal for Witnesses and Footage
“It’s quite likely that the witness would have been unaware that an offence had taken place, but they may recall seeing a man talking with a schoolgirl as they walked in the alley,” said Detective Sergeant Brian Crane of Kent Police.
“Any information, no matter how small, could greatly help our investigation. We urge anyone with details or who has private CCTV or dashcam footage from the area at the time to come forward.”
