Predator Jailed After 30 Years of Abuse in Fife and West Lothian

A convicted abuser has finally been locked up after tormenting five victims over three decades. The offences stretched from 1985 to 2016 across Fife, West Lothian, and Dunfermline.

Victims Show Brave Defiance

Detective Inspector Craig Fraser praised the victims’ bravery. He said, “It takes an enormous amount of courage for victims to speak out. I am extremely grateful to them for their faith in us and for having the confidence to speak to us about the abuse they suffered.”

He added, “Today, their abuser is behind bars, where he will no longer be a threat to anyone.”

Police Urge Other Victims to Come Forward

Police Scotland urged anyone affected by abuse, no matter how long ago, to come forward. “If anyone has suffered any abuse, report it to police and be assured it will be investigated,” said officers.

Victims can expect full support from police and partner agencies throughout the process.
