Knives Found Hidden in Town Centre
Police on routine patrol in Medway’s town centre made a shocking find at around 9.30am on 16 April 2021. A blue and black rucksack stuffed with four knives was discovered hidden behind a bin on Military Road.
Community Safety Unit Seizes Dangerous Blades
Officers from Medway’s Community Safety Unit swooped in and seized the knives. They have launched an investigation to track down the person who ditched the deadly weapons.
Police Appeal for Witnesses
Anyone who saw someone carrying the rucksack before it was abandoned is urged to come forward. “We want to speak to anyone who might have information,” police said.
