Croydon Man Arrested After Brutal Warlingham Stabbing

Chaos erupted near Warlingham Green last night as a massive fight ended with a stabbing. Police swooped in with dog units, sealing off the area. A 22-year-old man from Croydon is now in custody as the investigation heats up.

Violent Brawl Rocks Limpsfield Road

Just after 9.40pm on Tuesday, cops raced to Limpsfield Road, right on the Croydon-Surrey border. They found a victim with stab wounds amid reports of a savage melee. Emergency teams treated the victim overnight, who thankfully escaped with non-life-threatening injuries and was released this morning.

A tight police cordon remains across Warlingham Green as forensic experts scour the scene. Officers are appealing to locals for any info or footage that might crack the case.

  • The Croydon man faces charges including grievous bodily harm, carrying a bladed weapon in public, and possession of a class B drug.

Borough Commander Lyndsey Whatley said: “We understand this would have been extremely distressing for anyone who witnessed the incident. We are not looking for any other suspects and believe there is no wider risk to the public.”
